Steve Doyle
Steve has been with Northrop and Johnson
for twelve years in which time he has become one of our most successful brokers.
In 2007 Steve purchased Northrop and Johnson of Massachusetts. He and his wife Paula work closely together in their quest to completely satisfy clients.
Steve has a winning personality and a quick wit. He has a large and loyal customer base, partly as a result of his ability to make things happen. He has enormous energy and enthusiasm and an uncanny ability to identify and solve problems.
Steve is an avid skier, having been an instructor at Wildcat Mountain in New Hampshire. Steve and Paula are members
of Province Lake Golf Club and enjoy playing courses across the globe.

George Georges
George has been a Yacht Broker at Northrop and Johnson since 1993. He
is recognized as an expert in the 40' - 60' Sportfishing market in both
production and custom yachts.
George graduated from
Northeastern University in the 80's and worked as an independent
insurance consultant. His first love was boating and in the early '90s
he decided to put his selling and promotional skills to work in the
yachting industry. Since joining Northrop and Johnson, he has developed
a loyal customer base.
George spends his summers
aboard his Post 46', LIQUID ASSETS, cruising New England whenever his
busy schedule allows. George has a great deal of energy and enthusiasm
and can often be found working in the office late in the evening.

Ron Housman
Ron, a licensed USCG Captain, has over 40 years of experience operating all kinds of boats. In addition to yacht brokerage, he has over 30 years of experience in various service industries and direct sales including a Custom Furniture/Marine Woodworking business, a yacht charter business and aircraft sales and marketing.
As an avid yachtsman and instrument rated pilot, he is either in the water, on the water or flying over it whenever possible.
Ron is uniquely qualified to find the right yacht for his clients as well as provide personal air travel solutions. He lives aboard his 56’ Hatteras motoryacht in Boston Harbor and is immersed in the yachting lifestyle. He is a welcome addition to the Northrop and Johnson sales team. |

Richard Hamel
Originally from Alaska, Richard has worked around boats since joining the Navy 30 years ago. From Alaska’s fishing industry to massive 900’ oil tankers, his experience with boats combined with his knowledge of the recreational marine industry and an awareness of the current market allows him to assist his clients in making the best decisions.
Richard brings an excitement and energy to his work that sets him apart. |
| Eric Ciambra
Eric joins Northrop and Johnson with extensive business experience acquired while living around the globe and pursuing a successful career in international finance.
The son of an international banker, Eric was born in West Africa and has also lived in India, Hong Kong, Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the South of France, and the United States. Eric attended Ratcliffe College in the UK and Montpellier University in France. This led him to a career in the City of London at Union Bank of Switzerland, Barclays, Daiwa, and Bank of Montreal Nesbitt Burns. As well as a capital markets background, Eric has also professional experience in investment banking, commercial lending and the yachting industry.
Eric is fluent in French and English and he prides his success on building strong client relationships based on superlative customer service. |
| Peter Griffin
Peter has over 25 years experience in the marine industry. He was General Manager and owner of Great Bay Marine in Newington, NH. In the early 90’s Peter established Great Bay Orient , a marine manufacturers rep. firm specializing in the Pacific Rim. Clients look to Peter for his knowledge of yacht yards, crews and large sail and motor yachts.
Peter is an avid yachtsman with offshore
racing and one design buoy racing experience. He also has extensive delivery and cruising experience. He enjoys cruising with his wife and children on their Swan 77 around Maine and the Caribbean. Over the years the family has also chartered many power yachts over 135'.
Peter is a member of the Portsmouth Yacht Club, a trustee of the New England Aquarium and the Yacht Brokers Association of America. He lives in Boston with his wife and two young children. When not working around yachts peter enjoys surfing and performance driving.

| Robert Leslie
Robert started in yacht brokerage in 1973 as
a yacht broker for Graves Yacht Yard. During the late '70s and early '80s Bob spent time ocean racing sailboats in the North Atlantic. He competed in five Newport to Bermuda Races as well as numerous SORC Regattas and hundreds of local regattas in New England.
In 1985 Robert purchased the Massachusetts office of Northrop and Johnson. Under his leadership the company grew to be one of the largest yacht brokerages in the Northeast. In the past 35 years Robert has sold many significant yachts in the 80' - 150' range to a loyal customer base here in the US as well as Europe and Asia. Robert served as president of the Yacht Architects and Brokers Association from 1990 to 1992 and has served as a Director of that organization for a total of 8 years. He also has served on various committees at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Marblehead.
